Doryx 100 mg and sun sensitivity: labelled phototoxicity

01Stop at the first red, not after the blister
Limit direct sun and artificial ultraviolet light. Sunscreen helps; it does not erase the row.
A shop tile that sells Doryx 100 mg next to a tanning-bed coupon is illiterate. Weekend festivals on a month-long acne pack create more UV hours than a short tick course.
Water glare and high altitude burn faster. Plan shade before the hike, not after the blister.
Some research cohorts quote phototoxicity near one in five. The insert does not promise that percent. Treat risk as real for anyone on the course.
03Delayed-release does not delete class sun rules
DR changes pellet timing in the gut. It does not delete phototoxicity. Pediatric tooth and bone concerns still sit on the class. This note is not a pediatric manual.
04What a hat cannot skip
It cannot skip cations and an upright swallow. It cannot skip a call for severe headache plus vision change. Reviewed 2026-08-21. Dead URLs: [email protected].

DailyMed Doryx / doxycycline DR labels.
Clinic phototoxicity notes (percent not a label promise).
Doryx 100 mg photosensitizes. Stop at the first erythema. Severe headache with vision change can be intracranial hypertension - urgent care.
Gala N. Is sunscreen enough on a beach week?
Vault reply
Sunscreen helps; it does not erase the row. Limit direct sun and artificial UV. Stop at the first skin redness. See Doryx 100 mg DR.
Enric B. Ski glare without a beach?
Vault reply
UV does not need a beach. High-altitude and water-glare days burn faster. A 100 mg capsule does not come with a weather app.
Sibley T. One in five get this?
Vault reply
Some clinic notes quote phototoxicity in roughly one in five doxycycline users in research cohorts. The label itself does not give that percent as a promise. Treat risk as real.
Hana K. Malaria weeks - same rule?
Vault reply
The phototoxicity row does not pause at the airport. Shade gear belongs in the carry-on next to the blister.
Marc L. Tanning-bed coupon next to Doryx?
Vault reply
Illiterate. Stop UV. Delayed-release does not delete class sun warnings.
Pilar E. Steroids on the same trip?
Vault reply
Steroids do not cancel this row. Read the prednisone 10 mg page for masked fever. Keep the hat.
