Lilly's as-needed studies kept erectile-function scores above placebo out to 36 hours. Friday 20:00 to Sunday 08:00 is 36 hours on the clock. That is a trial window, not a guarantee after brunch wine and no sleep. Arousal is still required. Do not add sildenafil as Sunday backup. Usual max for 10 or 20 mg as needed is once per day.

Two 10 mg swallows inside 24 hours is two as-needed doses. The label's usual ceiling is one as-needed dose per day. If Friday 10 mg underwhelms, the next planned dose can step to 20 mg once after a prescriber reviews side effects. Kidney impairment uses a different spacing row.

No. Half-life near 17.5 hours keeps tissue exposure around. An erection still needs sexual stimulation. Men describe easier second attempts, not a locked erection. If continuous low exposure sounds kinder, read daily 2.5 versus 10 mg as needed.

If Saturday is lost to fatigue, Sunday may still sit inside a 36-hour window from a Friday evening tablet. Do not rescue with a second 10 mg the same calendar day.

Headache is a common labelled effect and can ride the long tail. A second 10 mg inside the same day is not. If Friday 10 mg gives a migraine every time, ask about 5 mg as needed or a daily 2.5 mg path.
