01Did either drug change the other's blood level?
Tadalafil did not affect alcohol plasma concentrations. Alcohol did not affect tadalafil plasma concentrations. The risk is two mild vasodilators in the same evening, not a hidden PK spike.
A thin erection after five drinks tells you about the evening, not about whether 10 mg is empty.
02What does the Cialis label count as substantial alcohol?
Substantial consumption is 5 units or greater. Both alcohol and tadalafil act as mild vasodilators. Together they can increase each other's blood-pressure-lowering effects.
That is the warning. It is not a recipe for a safer pour size.
03Does a heavy evening allow a second 10 mg?
A heavy evening does not allow a second 10 mg. Usual frequency is one as-needed tablet a day. A second swallow will not rescue a night that already stacked two vasodilators.
Food still leaves absorption unmoved. That is the meal probe, not this alcohol row.
04What happens to standing pressure on that load?
Standing blood pressure can fall. Heart rate can rise. Dizziness and headache can show up. Those are the orthostatic signs the label names when the two vasodilators share an evening.
If chest pain starts, treat the chest. Do not time a nitrate spray because the wine is finished. See nitrates and 48 hours.
05If five units are already in, should 10 mg wait?
Five units plus tadalafil is the warning the label already wrote. Skipping the tablet that night is the conservative read. A second vasodilator will not improve the attempt.
Do not add a nitrate spray to 'fix' chest tightness after that load. Treat the chest if it starts.
06What example does the Medication Guide give?
Five glasses of wine or 5 shots of whiskey sit on the patient-information example for too much alcohol with this tablet. The Guide is speaking to the person who swallows 10 mg, not to a bartender's jiggers.
This page does not walk ounce-by-ounce conversions. The job is the 5-unit line.
