Specially coated pellets of doxycycline hyclate. The 200 mg Doryx bottle panel in the file this page read says do not chew or crush. A generic 100 mg delayed-release tablet uses the same pellet idea. Breaking the tablet is allowed only to sprinkle intact pellets on applesauce.
Any lost pellets mean that swallow is incomplete. Hot applesauce is the wrong vehicle. The mix is swallowed at once, without chewing, and is thrown away if it sits.
02Why does this site keep saying 100 mg DR?
The usual adult Doryx sentences are written in 100 mg units: 100 mg every 12 hours on day one, then 100 mg daily. Many US generic delayed-release tablets are 100 mg. This vault's lock follows that unit.
Older Doryx presentations also listed 50 mg, 80 mg, and 200 mg tablets. Those strengths do not move this page off 100 mg delayed-release. A 200 mg once-daily chlamydia alternate is a named 7-day row, not a new lock.
03How does Doryx MPC 120 mg sit next to 100 mg?
The MPC label writes a replacement: 120 mg MPC for 100 mg Doryx, 60 mg MPC for 50 mg Doryx. That is how a switch is done. It is not how you double a 100 mg DR tablet to invent 120.
If the bottle in hand says MPC, you left this vault's product. Read the MPC insert. Do not keep using 100 mg DR sentences as if the milligrams matched.
04Where does ordinary 100 mg hyclate sit?
On a different NDC and a different release. Price and crush rules change. The counselling sun row and the antacid row still apply to the class. The pellet sprinkle row does not automatically transfer.

05What identity checks belong on the 100 mg DR bottle?

06When can the tablet be broken at all?
Section 2.4 allows a careful break so intact delayed-release pellets can sit on a spoon of applesauce. The applesauce must be soft and not hot. Swallow at once. Do not store the mixture. Follow with water if you want.
Ordinary crushing to hide taste is not that section. If pellets crack, the delayed coat is gone. Stay upright after either swallow style. Esophagitis is the class risk most people earn by taking a tablet in bed.
