01What are the four BeSafeRx checks in order?
Prescription required. US address and US phone posted. Licensed pharmacist available. State license visible in the locator on FDA.gov. Commander Lysette Deshields walked that list for FDA's BeSafeRx campaign. The locator is the look-up. The other three are still homework after a hit.
A Doryx 100 mg delayed-release bottle is a prescription tetracycline. A shop that skips the written order fails before you ever click the state map.
02If the site shows a US phone, is the shop safe?
No. A phone is one check. Hidden address, no pharmacist, and a missing locator row still fail. A toll-free number that rings a call center outside a licensed pharmacy is not the US contact FDA asked for.
Warning letters name sites that offer prescription drugs without a prescription, without adequate directions, or without required risk language. Doryx pages that skip phototoxicity and C. difficile are a literacy fail even before the license check.
03What do you still check when a lawful bottle arrives?
The insert in the box. Do-not-chew. Fluids. First-erythema stop. Antacid list. If that paper and DailyMed disagree, keep the paper in your hand.
Dead shop URLs can go to [email protected]. Do not mail other people's prescription labels.
04How do you use the FDA locator?
Open Locate a State-Licensed Online Pharmacy on FDA.gov. Choose the state. Look for the shop in that board's license database. Not listed means do not use that pharmacy.
If the shop ships from one state to the state where you sit, both licenses can matter. FDA's spoken version said the pharmacy should be licensed where it operates and, if different, where you order from.
05What product words should the shop still show?
Delayed-release. 100 mg. Doxycycline hyclate or Doryx. A prescription requirement. If the tile says doxy 100 and hides the form, you may be buying ordinary hyclate or nothing identifiable.
Generic delayed-release is still a prescription product. Generic Doryx is delayed-release hyclate, not an OTC strip.
06What about a foreign site with a Doryx-shaped carton?
FDA tells people not to buy from sites that sit outside the United States. A carton that looks like delayed-release doxycycline is not a US fill. This vault will not guess the pellets in that blister.
A lawful US video visit still ends at a state-licensed pharmacy. That path is how a US Doryx line is written.
