01How a five-day map leaves little slack
Five swallows is the whole unit. One miss is 20% of the course. That is why the phone call happens the same day you notice the hole, not after the last tablet.
If you cannot reach anyone, do not invent a sixth day at the end to 'complete five.' Duration past the written five is not the recommended home step. See five-day course.
02What overdose signs the insert lists
Acute overdosage toxicity has not been reported as a classic poisoning picture. The 'more than recommended dose during therapy' list is the practical one: gut upset, flushes, visual change, ovarian pain.
Oral LD50 figures in mice and rats are animal numbers. The toxic dose in humans is not known. Supportive care and gut decontamination are the overdose-treatment sentences. Dialysis is unknown.
03When to call before inventing a catch-up
Call if the missed tablet was yesterday and today is still inside the written window. Call if you already took two by mistake. Call if visual symptoms started after the extra swallow.
New blur after a double dose is a stop plus an eye exam. The vision-flag pulse still applies.
04Why leftover make-up days are not a new course
A new course waits for the interval exam: no pregnancy, no leftover enlargement, no new cyst. Leftover 50 mg on the nightstand is not that exam.
Partner use of leftover tablets is off this vault. Read male off-label. Lock the bottle.
05What a missed cycle-day swallow is
Each 50 mg tablet sits on a named day. Missing Wednesday's swallow leaves a four-tablet course unless a clinician rewrites the map. That rewrite is theirs.
Apps that slide the leftover tablet to Thursday do not become the insert. The cycle-timing pulse places days. This page is the hole.
06Why doubling the next morning is not labelled
The 100 mg day is a later-course plan: two 50 mg tablets as one daily dose for five days after 50 mg failed to ovulate. It is not a catch-up for a forgotten Wednesday.
Signs listed when more than the recommended dose is used include nausea, vomiting, vasomotor flushes, visual blurring, spots or flashes, scotomata, and ovarian enlargement with pain.
