Yes, if the alpha-blocker is already stable and the first sildenafil swallow is 25 mg. Starting both as a first-night pair is how people meet the floor.

03When two vasodilators as a first night fail
A new alpha-blocker plus a new 50 mg tablet is not a prostate-and-ED hack. Separate the starts. The prescriber may also separate the hours.

Stabilize the alpha-blocker first when possible. Then initiate Viagra at 25 mg. The insert's wording is that sequence, not 'take them together and see'.
Once per day still caps sildenafil. The alpha-blocker keeps its own schedule.
05Who separates the hours if the prescriber asks
Some charts keep space between the alpha-blocker swallow and the 25 mg sildenafil swallow. Follow that chart. Do not add a second PDE5 the same night.

06How the doxazosin rooms were read
After 14 daily doxazosin doses, four men received Viagra 100 mg at the same time. Standing systolic pressure fell hard enough that the protocol dropped to 25 mg. In 17 later subjects on doxazosin 4 or 8 mg plus Viagra 25 mg, none had standing systolic pressure under 85 mmHg; three had a standing systolic drop greater than 30 mmHg after 25 mg.
When 50 mg was later given with doxazosin, two men had standing systolic pressure under 85 mmHg, with hypotension starting about 1 hour after 50 mg and lasting about 7.5 hours. No syncope was reported in that 50 mg room.
