01Where the call-now note lives
New productive cough, confusion, meningism, or a stiff neck skip both notes and go to care. The pulse says that in more rooms. This probe will not repeat that whole page.
Pair the mask sentence with the 10 mg lock on the prednisone vault.
02Where live-vaccine questions go
Shot stops belong on prednisone and live vaccines. Immunosuppressive doses close live and live-attenuated products.Mention shots and exposures on the same visit that prints the last day.
03What chickenpox or measles exposure requires
People on immune-suppressing drugs are more susceptible. Chickenpox and measles can run a more serious or fatal course in non-immune children or adults on corticosteroids. If exposed, seek medical advice without delay.
VZIG may be indicated after chickenpox exposure. Pooled intramuscular immunoglobulin may be indicated after measles exposure. Those products have their own inserts. This page will not dose them.
04What 'mask some signs' means on the insert
Fever and local redness can look calmer than the person. The insert says corticosteroids may mask some signs of infection. That is why waiting is the risk, not the tablet working.
Markers can look calmer too. Exam and history carry more weight on steroid weeks. The pulse walks that exam habit. This probe only names the mask.
05Why you do not stop 10 mg for immunity without a call
Stopping a long 10 mg course cold can leave the axis quiet. Infection and withdrawal can sit in the same week. Call before you throw the bottle out because a virus started.
The taper pulse is the exit page. The infection pulse is the fever page.
06Why new infections can still start
New infections may appear during use, alone or with other immunosuppressive agents. The pathogen list is broad on purpose. A quiet thermometer does not mean the list is empty.
Duration plus dose sets how much risk you carry more than the brand word on an old box.
